Lucas Witt is a founding partner of MWM Consulting, LLC, which specializes in economic development, site selection, and tax incentive services. Lucas is a seasoned economic development professional and licensed real estate sales associate with a proven track record of driving significant growth through strategic project management and capital investment. He began his career at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development where he led high-profile projects such as Novelis in Todd County, KY, PACCAR in Louisville, KY, and Century Aluminum in Hancock County, KY. Lucas’ projects at the Cabinet collectively resulted in over $2 billion in capital investment and the creation of more than 2,000 new jobs for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. 

Following his tenure at the Cabinet, Lucas co-founded MWM Consulting, where he applies his extensive experience in economic development, real estate, and government relations to assist both corporate clients and communities. Under his leadership, MWM has facilitated projects resulting in nearly $2 billion in capital investment, more than 1,500 new jobs, and over $25 million in state tax incentives. Lucas’ expertise spans economic development, capital investment negotiation, real estate development, and client relationship management.   

Lucas was born and raised in Lexington, KY which is where he, his wife Lyndsey, his son William, his daughter Margo, and dog Millie call home. The Witts enjoy spending time together at Lake Cumberland and on the golf course with family and friends.

Amy Mellinger is a founding partner of MWM Consulting, LLC. She is the immediate past principal broker and partner of Fortune Realty with over twenty years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Her career has included management of commercial build-to-suit projects, leasing, property management and landlord/client representation. Alongside her team, Amy developed, built, leased, and eventually led the sale transaction of the Fortune Business Center – 50 acres of land with 500,000 square feet of building space.

Through Amy’s career, she has negotiated hundreds of commercial leases with regional, national and global tenants while managing a real estate portfolio of over 850,000 square feet. She strives to thoroughly understand the business models and objectives of her clients, either investors with long term financial goals or a tenant with a specific space need.



Away from the office, Amy enjoys time at Lake Cumberland with family and friends, walking, and perusing the internet and literature for the latest in interior design and real estate projects.

Elizabeth Carter is the Manager of Economic Development & Research at MWM Consulting, where she leads efforts to support clients in making informed, strategic decisions that foster sustainable growth. With a strong background in government contracting, Elizabeth specializes in helping communities and businesses navigate complex economic development landscapes, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that drive long-term success. She manages a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating with clients to conduct detailed economic research, feasibility studies, and market analysis. Her work empowers clients to make data-driven decisions, whether in real estate development, business expansion, or community growth initiatives. 

Prior to joining MWM Consulting, Elizabeth worked as a federal contractor with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, supporting the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Occupational Safety and Heath Environment (OSHE). In this role, she developed a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.

Audrey Grace Hacker is the Manager of Strategic Advisory and Location Intelligence at MWM Consulting. With a focus on understanding clients’ unique needs, Audrey Grace evaluates critical factors such as utility access, building specifications and workforce availability to ensure alignment with client’s long-term goals. Taking a data-driven approach enables clients to identify optimal locations for expansion, investment, and operational growth. 

Before joining MWM, Audrey Grace worked for a farmland investment company that owned and managed over $100 million in assets across the Mississippi Delta Region. There, she was involved in managing investments through various vehicles. Her experience in the agricultural real estate and investments sector assists her in navigating location and investment opportunities for clients.

Ryder Brown is the Marketing and Information Systems Manager at MWM Consulting, assisting in economic development and corporate clients. He holds a master's degree in Information Communication Technology from the University of Kentucky. Ryder has extensive experience in digital marketing, significantly boosting online presence across various industries.

He utilizes expertise in social media measurement, website development, brand strategy, lead generation, multi-channel marketing, and advertising. In the real estate industry, he managed content production, coordinated marketing efforts, and led rebranding initiatives.

Mac McLean serves as a Project Manager for MWM Consulting, specializing in economic development, site selection, and tax incentive consulting. He graduated with dual BBAs in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Georgia in 2023. He interned with Bellwether Enterprise, a commercial and multifamily mortgage banking firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. The following summer, he gained further experience with Block + Lot Real Estate in Lexington, Kentucky. After interning with MWM in 2023, he joined the company full-time. In addition to his role at MWM, Mac serves as a Commercial Sales and Leasing Agent at Block + Lot, bringing a multifaceted approach to the projects he undertakes
